Product Overview

The Arcam Radia A25+ is a Class G integrated amplifier rated at 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 165 watts per channel into 4 ohms. It is the flagship integrated amplifier in the Arcam Radia Plus lineup and a capable anchor for a full two-channel system built around vinyl, streaming, and television.

Fifth-generation Class G amplification is the defining feature of the A25 Plus. The design uses dual voltage rails that transition gradually from low to high power as demand increases, delivering efficient operation without the crossover distortion associated with Class AB. The result is an amplifier that stays controlled and composed at low listening levels and maintains authority as volume increases. The 165-watt rating into 4 ohms makes the A25+ a practical choice for larger bookshelf speakers, standmount models that dip to low impedances under load, and full-size floorstanders.

The Arcam A25+ handles every major source from a single chassis. The built-in MM phono stage accepts a turntable directly. HDMI eARC connects a television over a single cable, with Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus decoding handled onboard. A USB-C input takes a laptop or desktop computer at up to 384kHz and 32-bit. Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound supports aptX Lossless wireless audio from a phone and Auracast broadcast to multiple compatible headphones or speakers simultaneously, without pairing. A variable preout is available for active speakers or an external power amplifier.

What's New Compared to the Original A25

The A25+ makes several targeted upgrades over the original Arcam A25. The key addition is HDMI eARC, which the original A25 did not include, enabling direct connection to a television for TV audio playback over a single cable. The DAC is upgraded, and the transformer has been redesigned for a lower noise floor and more stable current delivery. Bluetooth advances from aptX Adaptive on the original A25 to Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD, aptX Lossless, and Auracast via Snapdragon Sound. The USB-C digital input supports PCM up to 384kHz and 32-bit. A new cut glass front panel replaces the standard panel of the original A25. Power output remains 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 165 watts into 4 ohms, with the Class G amplifier architecture unchanged.
