Product Overview

The "A" in ARCAM stands for amplification, where our expertise lies. The A15+ is the latest in nearly 50 years of amplifier design and manufacture, dating back to our first product in 1976 —the A&R Cambridge A60 amplifier. Since the launch of the award-winning ARCAM Radia A15, we haven't rested. Our engineering team pushed further to create the powerful ARCAM A15+, an even better sounding and more versatile integrated amplifier.

The A15+ features an enhanced power supply design and cutting-edge wireless capabilities straight out of the box. Snapdragon Sound delivers uncompressed digital audio via Bluetooth, while Auracast enables multiple compatible headphones or speakers to share music wirelessly, with no pairing required.

With a wide array of analogue inputs, including a meticulously tuned phono stage, and digital inputs including HDMI eARC, the A15+ provides an impact for everything from vinyl to TV.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much power does the Arcam A15+ deliver to speakers?

The A15+ delivers about 2 x 80 watts into 8 ohm speakers and about 100 watts into 4 ohm speakers. This gives you more headroom and better control for larger bookshelf and floorstanding speakers compared to the A5+.

Can I connect this amplifier to my TV?

Yes. The A15+ has digital optical and coaxial inputs. You can connect your TV directly to improve sound quality for movies, sports, and streaming apps.

Can I connect a CD player or a music streamer?

Yes. You can connect both. The A15+ accepts optical, coaxial, and analog RCA inputs, and its DAC supports up to 24 bit 192 kHz audio.

Does the A15+ support Bluetooth streaming?

Yes. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast. This provides higher quality wireless audio and the ability to share audio to multiple compatible headphones or speakers.

Can I use a turntable with the A15+?

Yes. The A15+ has a built in moving magnet phono input. You can plug in a turntable directly as long as it uses a moving magnet cartridge.

What DAC does the A15+ use?

The A15+ uses an ESS ES9018 based DAC for clean, detailed, and low noise digital audio playback.

Does the A15+ have a headphone output?

Yes. There is a headphone jack on the front panel for private listening.

What is the difference between the A5+, the A15+, and the A25+?

The A15+ delivers more power and stronger dynamics than the A5+, making it better suited for larger speakers or bigger rooms. The A25+ goes even further, with the highest power output of the three and the most headroom for demanding speaker loads. All three share similar feature sets, such as Bluetooth, phono input, and digital inputs, but the A15+ is a step up from the A5+ in performance, and the A25+ is the top performer in this lineup with the most power and dynamic capability.

Does the A15+ have auto standby or energy saving features?

Yes. The amplifier will enter standby automatically if there is no audio signal for a period of time. This reduces power usage when the system is idle.

What comes in the box?

The A15+ comes with the amplifier, power cable, remote control, and quick start documentation.
