The MitMat Foundation Mat I is a rigid, rectangular, 12 or 25 mm thick isolation mat for use under your audio components. Designed for cabinet shelves, bookshelves, tables, credenzas and or equipment rack shelves.The MitMat Foundation Mat I measures 15 inches x 18 inches (38.1 cm x 457 cm), and is ideal for larger audio components such as turntables, amplifiers, CD or SACD players and music servers.

• The MitMat Foundation Mat dampens all low-amplitude external and component resonances (300Hz and higher) including racks, shelves, and furniture.
• Even out slight imperfections/unevenness in racks, shelves and furniture.
• The MitMat Foundation Mat is extremely rigid and maintains an absolutely flat surface with stereo components up to 132 lbs/59 kilos—or 32.5 lbs/15 kilos per component foot.
• To avoid edge damage keep heavy component feet at least 1 in/2.5 cm away from the edge of the foundation mat.
• The Foundation Mat is sufficiently heat resistant to maintain its integrity within 1 in/2.5 cm of heat producing class A amplifiers.
