Focal Omada N1 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)

The Focal Omada N1 is a 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf loudspeaker designed for two-channel stereo listening, compact living spaces, and as a surround speaker within a larger Omada-based home theatre system. It pairs a 6.5-inch Slatefiber midbass driver with Focal's exclusive TAM tweeter to deliver detailed, balanced sound from a compact cabinet suited to rooms up to 30 square metres. The Focal Omada N1 is available at Trutone Electronics in Mississauga, Ontario.

The Focal Omada N1 extends to 48 Hz at the -6dB point, giving it noticeably more low-end output than many compact bookshelf speakers in its class. For most music and casual listening in a small to medium room it performs well without additional bass support. A subwoofer will extend full-range output further for movie soundtracks or bass-heavy music.

The Focal Omada N1 is rated for 25 to 120 watts per channel, compatible with a wide range of integrated amplifiers and AV receivers. Its 89.5dB sensitivity and 8-ohm nominal impedance mean it does not demand a particularly powerful amplifier to perform well. This wide power range gives buyers flexibility whether pairing it with a modest integrated amp or a more substantial AV receiver.

The Focal Omada N1 uses Slatefiber cone technology and a redesigned TAM tweeter that sit higher in Focal's technology hierarchy than the Theva range's drivers. Focal positions the Omada series as a step up from Theva, slotting between Theva and the mid-range Vestia series. Buyers choosing between the two are generally choosing between Focal's entry-level and accessible mid-tier driver technology.

The Focal Omada N1 is designed for rooms up to approximately 30 square metres, making it well suited to bedrooms, smaller living rooms, home offices, and apartment-sized spaces. Its front-firing port simplifies placement near walls or on media furniture without significantly compromising bass output. For larger rooms, the floorstanding Omada N2 or N3 are more appropriate choices.

The Focal Omada N1 uses a 6.5-inch Slatefiber midbass driver paired with a 25mm aluminium/magnesium TAM tweeter featuring an 'M'-shaped inverted dome profile. Slatefiber is Focal's recycled-carbon-fibre cone material, combining rigidity and damping for detailed and natural sound reproduction. The TAM tweeter's urethane waveguide widens the listening window so tonal balance remains consistent even away from the ideal listening position.

The Focal Omada N1 does not include a stand as standard, but an optional tilted stand measuring 55 centimetres in height is available separately. The stand positions the speaker at an appropriate listening height while contributing to time alignment between the drivers and the listener's ears. The front-firing port also allows placement on media furniture or a bookshelf near walls without significantly affecting performance.

The Focal Omada N1 is available in Black High Gloss, consistent across the entire Omada range. The high-gloss black cabinet pairs with a leather-effect front panel for a refined, modern appearance suited to a wide range of room styles.
