Product Overview

The Eversolo T10 is a flagship streaming transport built as the successor to the acclaimed T8, engineered for high-performance Hi-Fi systems that already use an external DAC. As a digital source only, it carries no onboard DAC, making it suited to systems where an outboard DAC handles the conversion stage. At its core, the T10 pairs a custom O-type linear power supply with an OCXO clock system and Phase-Locked Loop technology, alongside comprehensive electrical isolation across critical digital signal paths, all aimed at delivering a cleaner, lower-noise signal to a connected DAC rather than imposing its own sonic character. The result is designed to preserve the source recording, allowing more natural detail, dynamic expression, and musical nuance to come through.

Compared to the T8, the T10 steps up networking from Gigabit Ethernet to 2.5GbE, adds Wi-Fi 6 and an SFP fibre port, and introduces a 10MHz external master clock input supporting 50Ω and 75Ω impedance. Processing moves to a 64-bit octa-core chip with 8GB of RAM, double the T8's memory, feeding a new library engine capable of scanning roughly 200,000 tracks in about two hours. The chassis has also grown, measuring 365mm × 310mm × 88mm, and now houses an 8.6-inch touchscreen, up from 6 inches on the T8.

Features

  • Precision clocking — An ultra-low phase-noise OCXO crystal oscillator minimizes frequency drift through precise thermal regulation, working alongside a low-noise PLL system to refine the clock signal and reduce jitter.
  • Isolated, high-resolution digital outputs — USB Audio and IIS outputs support up to stereo DSD512 Native and PCM 768kHz/32-bit, while optical, coaxial, and AES/EBU outputs support up to stereo PCM 192kHz/24-bit and DoP64. I2S output offers eight selectable modes for broad DAC compatibility.
  • Advanced networking — A 2.5G Ethernet port and SFP fiber interface provide reliable bandwidth for large music libraries and high-bitrate streaming, with the fiber connection offering an added layer of electrical isolation from network gear. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 is also included.
  • Onboard storage expansion — Two M.2 NVMe SSD slots support up to 16TB of total local storage for large music collections.
  • Intelligent music library management — The system can scan approximately 200,000 tracks within two hours and supports cross-platform playlist creation, global search, and full content shuffle playback.
  • evotune™ Pro room correctionBuilds a dedicated acoustic model of the listening environment to deliver stronger bass control and correction of common room acoustic issues, automatically generating tailored compensation profiles for different spaces.
  • Redesigned 8.6" touchscreen interface — Provides browsing, playback information, VU meters, spectrum visualizations, and ambient display modes.
  • Multi-platform controlControllable via Android, iPhone, iPad, and TV apps, or by remote control.
  • Broad streaming service supportIntegrates TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and DLNA, among others.
  • Enhanced CD playback and rippingAutomatically retrieves album artwork, track information, and metadata, with intelligent error correction and playback history recognition.
  • Upsampling and playback refinements — Supports audio upsampling up to 16x along with global fade-in and fade-out transitions for smoother listening sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the EverSolo T10 Reference Streaming Transport?

The EverSolo T10 Reference Streaming Transport is a dedicated digital source component designed for high-performance audio systems that use a separate external DAC. It streams music from all major services and local SSD storage, delivering a clean, precisely clocked digital signal to the connected DAC with no built-in DAC, analog outputs, or headphone amplifier. The EverSolo T10 is available at Trutone Electronics in Mississauga, Ontario.

Does the EverSolo T10 have a built-in DAC?

The EverSolo T10 does not include a built-in DAC and is a pure streaming transport, outputting digital audio only. Buyers who already own a high-performance external DAC use the T10 to feed it with a lower-noise, lower-jitter digital signal than a conventional all-in-one streamer typically delivers. For a complete system the EverSolo T10 requires a separate DAC, amplifier, and loudspeakers.

What digital outputs does the EverSolo T10 offer?

The EverSolo T10 offers five digital outputs: isolated USB Audio, isolated IIS (I2S), AES/EBU balanced, coaxial S/PDIF, and optical TosLink. The USB Audio and IIS outputs support up to stereo DSD512 Native and PCM 768kHz/32-bit, while AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical support up to PCM 192kHz/24-bit and DoP64. The IIS output includes eight selectable pin configurations for compatibility across DACs with different I2S wiring standards.

How is the EverSolo T10 different from the EverSolo T8?

The EverSolo T10 upgrades the T8 with an OCXO clock system with Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) technology and adds a 10MHz/25MHz external clock input the T8 did not offer. It also doubles RAM to 8GB DDR5, enlarges the touchscreen from 6 to 8.6 inches, upgrades network connectivity to 2.5G Ethernet, and widens the chassis to 365mm to stack directly with the EverSolo DAC-Z10. Reviewers describe the T10 as delivering a more mature, refined, and spatially resolved presentation than the T8.

What streaming services does the EverSolo T10 support?

The EverSolo T10 natively supports TIDAL, Qobuz, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, HIGHRESAUDIO, IDAGIO, SoundCloud, internet radio, and more. It also supports Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, DLNA, UPnP, and NAS streaming via SMB. Additional services are added through firmware updates as platform certifications are completed.

Can the EverSolo T10 store and play a local music library?

The EverSolo T10 supports dual M.2 NVMe SSD slots accommodating up to 16TB of local music storage, with SSDs sold separately. Its library system scans approximately 200,000 tracks in around two hours and supports global search across local and streaming sources, cross-platform playlist creation, and gapless playback.

What is the external clock input on the EverSolo T10 and who is it for?

The EverSolo T10 accepts an external 10MHz or 25MHz master clock signal at either 50Ω or 75Ω impedance, allowing synchronization with a dedicated precision clock generator. EverSolo is developing the C10 Precision Master Clock as a companion that can lock both the T10 and DAC-Z10 to a shared reference simultaneously. For most users the internal OCXO clock and PLL system provide more than sufficient timing precision on their own.

Which digital output gives the best sound from the EverSolo T10?

AES/EBU is recommended by reviewers as the optimal connection for most DACs, as it directly leverages the T10's OCXO clock and PLL for output timing so the DAC receives a fully clock-governed signal. The IIS (I2S) output has been noted to offer a slightly wider soundstage and smoother high-frequency presentation than USB, though it requires the correct pin configuration to be selected in the T10's output settings. USB output hands reclocking responsibility to the DAC itself, making the T10's clock improvements less impactful via that connection.

Does the EverSolo T10 work with Roon?

The EverSolo T10 functions as a Roon endpoint, allowing it to be controlled and fed audio from a Roon Core running on a separate computer or NAS. The T10's own touchscreen and EverSolo Control app remain available for output switching and native streaming when Roon is not in use. EverSolo's own software platform offers a full alternative for listeners who prefer not to use Roon.
